Power IC SY8113BADC
he SY8113BADC is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC converter from Silergy, designed to provide a compact and efficient solution for power conversion applications. It operates from a 4.5V to 18V input voltage range and can deliver up to 3A of output current, making it suitable for powering a wide variety of digital and embedded systems.
The device integrates both the high-side and low-side switching MOSFETs, with low on-resistance of approximately 80mΩ and 40mΩ, respectively, helping minimize conduction losses and improve conversion efficiency. Its 500kHz switching frequency allows the use of relatively small external inductors and capacitors while helping achieve low output ripple and a compact overall power-supply design.
The SY8113BADC features an instant PWM architecture for fast transient response, internal soft-start to limit inrush current, and cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting for enhanced protection. The adjustable output uses a 0.6V reference with ±1.5% accuracy, providing flexibility for different output-voltage requirements.
